Alan was born in Boulder, Colorado, and raised in Ft. Myers, Florida, on the gulf coast. While growing up in Florida he worked as a paramedic, and continued to vacation in Colorado taking advantage of the skiing season during the winters and the hiking weather during the summers.
After marrying in 1997, Alan and his wife Heidi moved back to Colorado in 2000. Since then, they have had 3 children, two boys and a girl. Family is vitally important to Alan so it only makes sense that he is now able to help other families with their Real Estate dreams.
Alan started buying and selling real estate shortly after moving back to Colorado. First working with his family’s mortgage company and then obtaining his Broker’s license in 2004. Working with Keller Williams has given him the freedom to help others with all of their real estate needs. His background and experience give clients the best possible experience when buying or selling a home. In an office of over 160 agents Alan and his team are annually in the top 5 of top producers and are in the top 1% of agents nationwide.
Doug and his wife Cindy moved from Minnesota to Colorado in 1981 where their 2 children were born. After careers in home construction/land development and corporate IT, Doug obtained his Colorado real estate license in 2010. He loves using his technology and development background to help people find the home they’ll love.
When Doug isn’t busy finding new homes for clients, he enjoys going to car shows, working with his son on fine-tuning their racecar and spending time with his wife.
Born and raised in Colorado Nick and his wife Courtney met at Colorado State University where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics. Shortly after graduating he worked as an engineer and then a consultant for various Oil & Gas companies across the US. Now he lives in Thornton and has found his passion in Real Estate. Nick’s work ethic and knowledge of Colorado is instrumental in helping people find the home of their dreams. Nick loves meeting and relating to people and being a part of their home buying experience.
When Nick is not working with The Strange Team he enjoys athletic competition, woodworking and entertaining family and friends.
Mary moved from Michigan to Colorado with her family when she was 14 years old. After several years raising her 2 sons in Florida, she and her husband Paul moved back to Colorado. She had been a Registered Nurse for over 30 years. After obtaining her Real Estate License in 2006, Mary joined her son Alan at The Strange Team to help others navigate the real estate world in search of their dream home.
When she’s not busy working, Mary enjoys outdoor activities, traveling and spoiling her 4 grandchildren.

Adam is a Colorado native with roots in Denver. Adam is the quintessential Coloradoan and loves all things outdoors. When he’s not in the office, he is likely flying in the sky on his paraglider; hiking in the back-country; enjoying Colorado’s amazing craft beers; or spending time with his wife, Emily, their two kids, and their dogs, Orry and Squirrel.
Adam has a background in commercial construction management and after a decade as a police officer, more specifically as a K9 handler, Adam carried his commitment to service into real estate. Adam is an experienced real estate investor and is dedicated to helping others build generational wealth and passive income through investments in real estate. Adam is ready to help you find your dream home and invest in your future!
Born in Denmark, raised in Brazil, Michelle has lived all over the world traveling from adventure to adventure including a time previously living in Colorado. She has visited the Golden Temples in Thailand, cross-country skied in Sweden, played with monkeys in Venezuela, and danced a lot of Samba in Brazil. Her travels have given the opportunity to meet people all over the world. These meetings gave her the unique ability to connect with all kinds of people across the globe and to develop an almost instinct to understanding their dreams and hope for themselves and their families.
In Connecticut, she found her calling in real estate, developing one of the fastest growing practices in the state. But despite living all over the world, only one place felt like home: Boulder. She returned to the state in 2018, and obtained her Colorado Real Estate License so that she could continue her passion of connecting people with their dream homes. When not working, Michelle enjoys spending time with her 2 amazing children, horseback riding, hiking, running, dancing and enjoying the amazing culture Colorado has to offer.
James was raised in the Pacific Northwest and moved to Colorado during High School. After graduating and commissioning from Texas Christian University, James moved back to Denver to pursue his real estate license while serving in the National Guard as an Aviation Officer.
When he’s not in the office, James enjoys hiking, snowboarding, exploring Colorado’s fine craft beers, and spending time with family and friends. His favorite travel destinations are Peru, Switzerland, and Spain.
James’ passion for real estate stems from his natural interest in the industry and own experience moving around the country. His desire to make personal connections, build relationships, and help others achieve their goals keeps his committed to servicing various real estate needs. Marco loves his wife Lizzie, his puppy Lyla, and the TV show “The Office”! He enjoys playing music, skiing, and is always down for a competitive game of ping pong.
After living in Florida for 20 years, Marco & Lizzie were sick of the heat and mosquitos so they moved to beautiful Colorado. Marco has 10 years of experience as a private music teacher with over 50 weekly students. Marco also has photographed over 100 weddings with his wife Lizzie for their wedding photo business.
Having started businesses of his own, he has brought his self-employment drive and dedication to the real estate field. He has been investing in real estate for more than two years, and loves helping others do the same!
