Spring Home Selling Tips

Here are some great spring home selling tips our team would love to share with you.

Spring is such a great time of year. The weather starts to warm up, the flowers begin to bloom, the smell of fresh cut grass fills the air, and homes start popping up on the market. Spring time is a popular time to sell your home and here are a few tips.

Bring the outdoor smells into your home.
Spring is notorious for its wonderful smells. Pull those outdoor aromas into the home. Use plug ins, candles, or fresh cut plants to get some good smells.

Clean the front of the home.
Clean or replace your front door mat. Make sure there is no winter mud or fall leaves on your mat. This is also a great time to lean any other debris from the entrance of your home.

Bring out the spring colors.
Pull out all the fun and beautiful colors of spring. Look throughout the home put away the neutral and dark colors of winter and swap them out for fun spring patters and shapes. Maybe even head to the store and but some new throw blankets and pillows to lighten up the rooms.

Box up winter clothes.
When buyers enter your closets, you want them to appear as large as possible. Our heavy winter coats take up a lot of space so we recommend moving those out to make closets look less cluttered.

Clean out the Garage.
Over the winter, your garage gets full of dirt and grime from the roads. This is great opportunity to clean out the garage to make it seem less cluttered and clean. Salt is also bad for your concrete so by cleaning it out you are preserving the driveway and garage floor.
